We had a really great week in Wales. The cottage was very relaxing and really was like a home from home. The layout and the décor were excellent. It had everything that you might need and was in a beautiful location. You were both really welcoming and friendly and you seemed to take a genuine interest in making sure that we made the most of our stay without being intrusive in the slightest.. We all really enjoyed the lovely meal you both cooked for us. The edible flowers in the salad were different but very tasty.

George really loved the swimming pool and every morning it would be the first thing that he would mention.... “when are we going swimming dad, oh yeah and good morning”. Most days he had me in there twice. By the way Alan it inspired him and he can now swim without a life ring or killer whale to hang on to. No, I mean the inflatable, not me.

Buttercup mountain behind the cottage was well worth the climb and the views were tremendous. The directions to the top that you gave us to follow were a big help. I can now distinguish a dwarf oak tree from a silver birch.

There was so much to do around the area no matter what the weather. The castles and beaches were great as was going underground in places such as electric mountain and the slate caverns. Just going for a walk along the river was a pleasure in itself.

Myself, Jane, George and James (Gerry, Irene and Sherri too..) all had a great break and we look forward to seeing you two again for another stay. Great cottage, great hosts.
