Accessibility Statement For Tywyn Holiday Cottage

• Access to Tywyn is from the road entrance. There are ten steps from the parking area, which is tarmac, into the house. There is a metal handrail to the right of the steps. There is space to park two cars outside the cottage.
• Tywyn is on a public service bus route connecting Porthmadog (railway station) and Beddgelert. Both of these places have comprehensive connections to other places. Drivers will pick up and drop off guests outside the cottage.
• There are two twin bedrooms on the ground floor, each with en-suite facilities. Two further bedrooms, a double and single, are on the first floor. These bedrooms are reached by a flight of stairs with banister on one side and a solid wall on the other.

• Showers are of standard size and have doors which open from both sides. The bath has a grab handle.
• TVs, videos etc all have remote controls.
• All furniture (other than kitchen) is moveable so can be rearranged to accommodate specific needs.
• An outside seating area with lovely views can be accessed immediately outside the front door. A further step downwards gives access to a spacious patio area with table and chairs for outside dining etc.
• Owners live next door and access to their house is via a level pavement from the car park.
• Assistance dogs are welcome and there is no charge for them.
